He has an eye for detail and is highly skilled with pruning and hedging techniques for promoting growth on shrubs and small trees (e.g., citrus) or making that hedge perfectly straight. Ben specialises in soil science and is knowledgeable on how fertiliser influences plant growth, and the environment; ask him anything soil-related and he will happily talk to you about it.
